Welcome to the officially licensed James Dean ‘Hollywood Icon’ NFT collection with the Estate of James Dean, in partnership with CMG Worldwide and WorldwideXR. The James Dean ‘Hollywood Icon’ Collection commemorates the life and times of one of the greatest Hollywood stars to walk the red carpet. James Dean was the ultimate Hollywood icon. Despite losing his life two thirds of a century ago at the young age of 24 almost, James Dean’s legacy continues to influence and be celebrated by so many people around the world.
The campaign was developed by digital agency WorldwideXR and digital art house VueXR in collaboration with CMG Worldwide and James Dean Inc. The collection offers an exact 3D replica of the James Dean ‘Little Bastard’ Porsche confirmed by James Dean expert Lee Raskin. As well as the James Dean 3D metal bust with golden signature, a James Dean double sided gold medallion with famous quote, his last captured moment and the famous James Dean Hollywood Star. All developed with an augmented reality unlockable display on the VueXR NFT video player.
About the Artist:
Exacto has over ten years of multidisciplinary experience, working primarily as a 3D modeler and animator, as well as a graphic designer. He’s created an expansive variety of works, including crypto art, live projection mapping, brand identities, corporate instructional materials, commercials, music videos, and more, in a style that combines classical with contemporary in new visual forms that peer to the future whilst accrediting our history.

James Dean Porsche 550 Spyder ‘Little Bastard’
In 1955, James Dean was recognized as a promising actor as well as a passionate amateur race driver at Southern California’s racing circuits.
On September 21, 1955, he traded in his 356 Porsche Speedster and purchased a new $6,800 Porsche TYP 550 Spyder, VIN 550–0055, from Competition Motors in Hollywood.
Only 90 all-aluminum Porsche 550 models were built by Porsche KG in Stuttgart, Germany between 1954–1956. The Fuhrmann designed 547/1 had a 4 cylinder, air cooled horizontally opposed 4 overhead camshaft engine which produced 110 horsepower at 7000 rpm and was capable of a top speed of 130 mph.
James Dean’s Porsche 550 was painted metallic silver with a red leather interior. It also had factory painted red tail stripes with a 2mm gold leaf border.
James Dean took the Porsche to California car customizer Dean Jeffries who painted the provisional Salinas Road Race number, 130 on the front, the sides, and on the clamshell tail, along with the nickname “Little Bastard.”
On Friday, September 30th while driving to the October 1st Salinas Road Races, James Dean and his factory trained mechanic, Rolf Wütherich, got involved in a major two-car accident on California Route 466 at the Cholame Junction. James Dean was fatally injured, while Rolf Wütherich survived with critical injuries.
